Nationally recognized star of six best-selling dance/fitness DVD's Jennifer Galardi is a popular figure among top media, held in high esteem throughout the fitness industry, and adored by fans.

Jennifer has been teaching dance and fitness classes in Los Angeles, Orange County, and New York City for over nine years at prestigious studios and clubs such as The Edge, Sports Club L.A., CRUNCH, and Equinox.  Entering the dance and fitness field was a natural progression after years of ballet and jazz training, cheerleading and competitive tennis.  Although naturally athletic, Jennifer’s true passion is, and always has been, dance.  In 1998, upon arriving to Los Angeles, Jennifer continued her training with top choreographers and fitness professionals to develop multiple skills from a wide array of disciplines including jazz, hip-hop, Pilates, and yoga, just to name a few.

In addition to creating and leading her own DVD’s, Jennifer has been involved in many exciting and high-profile projects. She developed and starred in several online workouts for Exercise TV, created workouts for Carmen Electra’s Aerobic Striptease DVD series, helped create and led the Plyomix workout series with UFC Champion Matt Hughes, and hosted workouts for AbRail and “Dancing With the Stars’” Cheryl Burke’s newest infomercial, “Disco Abs”.  She also served as the fitness expert for WE TV’s Bikini and Bridal Make-Over shows. Most recently, she created and led workouts for Kim Kardashian’s new fitness program “Fit In Your Jeans By Friday” and completed three DVD’s for her new brand due out in Fall of 2009.

Jennifer has been seen as the face of top health and fitness brands such as Adidas, Under Armour, New Balance, lululemon, Nike, and Coca Cola’s Enviga drink and featured in popular magazines such as Cooking Light, Fitness, Shape, Oxygen and Health.

Despite her success in print and in front of the camera, for much of her life, Jennifer has felt the pressure of being thin and molding to society’s view of “beautiful”.  Like many women, she developed mechanisms to control her weight, sampling every diet and exercise trend. Although the constant attention to food and exercise became tedious and prohibitive, she began to find a positive way to channel her interests in dietary theory, experimenting with how food could enhance and compliment, not control her life.

Ultimately, this led Jennifer to enroll in the prestigious Institute For Integrative Nutrition in New York City, where she will graduate with a certificate in holistic health and wellness counseling in July 2009 from the Association of Drugless Practitioners.

Along her journey, Jennifer has gained knowledge and insight about the source of food, nutrients, and how to sustain a healthy balance of energy.  Armed with this knowledge, a daily practice of meditation, and passion for dance, fitness, and movement, Jennifer has begun to truly love and appreciate her body and what it can do.  She has adopted a more gentle approach of self-acceptance and moderation and realized that being healthy is not defined by the number of hours you workout or the amount of calories you eat. But by the richness and fullness of your relationships, your work, your home, your creativity, your friendships, and how you enhance the lives of all who meet you.

Her goal is to help others experience the freedom she has found.  She invites everyone to join her in creating habits and routines to live a balanced life in a beautiful, healthy and exuberant body!
